I bought this item almost two years ago and it still works great!! It is easy to use, and you dont have to buy the songs from the manufacturer (always a plus). It is quite a durable piece of equipment. I have probably dropped it a dozen times, spilled things on it, and it still works without any issues! I won't hesitate to buy from this manufacturer for my next MP3 purchase.

Familiar with product prior to purchase. Arrived faster than when previously ordered direct from Mfg. Very pleased with product! Wasn't looking for over-the-top technological MP3, just wanted to take my Brazilian music with me! Slim, small, able to jog with it.Would purchase from seller again.

This MP3 player is a waste of time don't bother buying it, I bought it in January and it broke within 60 days, I e-mailed SanDisk for a replacement and it came 2 days later and the screen cracked within 40 days, and It cracked AGAIN last month. It's sound quality is OK it's not the best, the video quality is so-so and the pictures are fine, but the fact that the screen keeps cracking is making me really angry and each time the screen cracked I was sitting with the Sansa in my hand and I brought it to my face and it cracks.
PROS:
It is somewhat portable but to big for a pants pocket
It can hold a good amount of songs
It has good sound quality (not the best I've Heard)
The ear-buds are comfortable
SanDisk's Customer service is good
Cons:
Screen keeps Cracking
It doesn't hold all forms of music and converting music takes a long time and most of the time it doesn't work
It doesn't always put the artist on the player when it's CLEARLY on my PC
The Radio and mic recording functions are crap and most of the time you can hear popping beeping and fizzing when attempting to record something
It doesn't have good Radio reception and you have to be near a window and sometimes that doesn't even work
Overall this gets a 3/10, it was really good when I first got it and then it just crapped out on me and I had to get a new one which is breaking and I haven't even had it for more than 6-7 months
I want my money back.

All of the e200 series is discontinued do not buy it. Nice player but they will no longer make updates for it. Pray you dont have problems with the firmware if you have it already. If i had known this pre-purchase i wouldnt have bought this player. They should clearly mark products discontinued, refurbished , special versions or what ever. they had made this same series with 2 versions but they dont tell you which your getting either. I have read alot of horror stories about this player and the 2 different versions with the same model numbers. People buy it thinking it will play the SDHC cards but then find out they got the version 1 and it wont work. There is a third party software rockbox you can install but i was told by Sansa it voids your warranty and you most likely need your warranty cause the headphone jack is mostly like going to tear up on you from what i read its a very common defect that Sansa wont acknowledge.
If you dont mind all that its a pretty decent player but 3 years out of date now.

I bought this one refurbished and I think that was my problem. I loved the product but after a few weeks, the headphone jack got messed up and wouldn't work right. Sandisk has a great return program, but because it was refurbished, they wouldn't do anything to it.
After this I upgraded to the e280 and liked it more. It's pretty much the same thing but more memory. And the new one never had the headphone jack problem so it's not like a common problem.
